Inviting continues. We are seeing an increased momentum in sign ups. Thirty-six people have done the first step of registration. We‚re in the process of giving those who haven‚t yet paid their registration fee a nudge. And Tom has created a great participant page: http://storyfieldconference.com/participants.html. This may also be useful in your outreach efforts.

Please meet our new registrar, Cheryl Genet: http://storyfieldconversations.wordpress.com/2007/05/28/hello-from-the-new-registrar. Cheryl was the registrar for the first Evolutionary Salon. Tom and I are DELIGHTED to be working with her again.

Paying your way. Since a primary role of this group is outreach, we discussed what is possible in terms of your financial support. It takes 4-5 full-paid registrants to cover all of your costs. During the call, we agreed that if you wish to have your way paid, you need to bring at least 4 people to the conference. And, of course, ripples count! If you invite someone who invites someone, that‚s exactly the kind of rolling outreach we hope to create.

This strategy is also a way that others who wish to attend but can‚t afford it on their own have an avenue to come. Cheryl is offering that option when people ask her about financial support.

As you think about your own situation, know that if you are in a position to pay your way, you help others who can‚t. Still, we recognize that there is value to your investment of time in reaching out to others. And some of you are also providing other types of support ˆ Gary and Dana with music and art, Gabriel and John Abbe with technology support. Since everyone has a different sensibility around this issue, it is our desire and intention to work with you on what makes sense for you.

Being wired onsite. We are working on to have Internet access available onsite. No details yet, but wanted you to know this is in the works in case any of your invitees ask.

Blogs. And about those blogs, several of you have expressed interest in spending time getting them really going. After some technical difficulties, we‚re just beginning to send out the invitations to participate. If you don‚t receive yours by the end of the week, please let me know.
