STORY FIELD CONFERENCE

Reflections

The post-event reflections from the Storyfield participants have all been transcribed and entered into a separate,

private reflections wiki (it's password-protected). If you were there and didn't receive the note with the url and password, just email  alenzo@earthlink.net and I'll send you those details.

These are the questions participants responded to:

Reflection uncovers what is up for us, what it means, and what is now possible. Doing this can deepen and broaden our collective sense of our experience so that we integrate and amplify its effect.

Please interview another person and draw out their story so that they relive not only the facts, but the “music”—the feelings, the energy, the excitement, the color—of their story.

Please take notes.  We can use them to communicate to others (including potential funders) about what happened here.

1.      Describe one or more "high points" for you at the gathering.  What made it powerful?

2.      How has the experience made a difference for you?  What tangible outcomes are you inspired to pursue (i.e., commitments to action, new relationships, new ideas)?

3.      What did you learn at the gathering that you most value?  Was it something about the process, or stories, evolution, relationships, taking action, or something else -- even that unnamable quality - call it grace or spirit?  Perhaps you have a mix of insights that emerged for you.  Please tell me about them.

4.      What, if any, post-gathering activities would you like to do with other participants?

5.      What advice would you have for making future gatherings as powerful as possible?

6.      On a scale of 1 (unsatisfactory) to 10 (mind and heart blowing), how would you rate this conference?  Why?

How would you like us to post/submit our responses to these questions?

I have the same question as Emily... It doesn't make sense for us to put all our answers into THIS page, does it?

Ditto. I wrote up some reflections -- should I send them to someone specific, and if so -- who and where?

Amy Lenzo is collecting them and we plan to find a way to get them up Real Soon Now. The tricky thing is finding a place that only conference participants can see them, so that we can include everything everyone wrote without worrying about what people wanted to keep private. Anyway, send them to Amy's e-mail address in the conference roster you got from Gabriel on Friday.

Hi guys - I've set up a password-protected wiki where Margo and I are in the process of putting all the transcribed interview pages everyone did in the last session... The link to that page is in the sidebar and I'll send you all the password in an email. In the meantime, you can send me your reflections and I'll post them in that wiki for you (and you can go in and edit them further yourself).

It's all ready to go now - just waiting for moderator permission to send you all the password.

You don't have permission to comment on this page.
