Tech Team: Crowdsourcing

Page history last edited by John Abbe 16 years, 7 months ago

Notes on Tech Team meeting Tuesday.

Present: Gabriel Shirley, John Abbe, Amy Lenzo, Stephen Silha, Skye Burn, Aeron Miller

Here we’ll weave together a story about how we’ll weave together stories!

How do we do this CrowdSourcing in a way that works?

How do we make the information useful to someone who’s not here – and to those who are here but wanting to ?

Storyfield Website - http://www.storyfieldconference.net/ - now has links to storyfield creations blog and conversations blog (they're also in the wiki sidebar here to the right).

Wiki (storyfieldteam.pbwiki.com) is home base for communication at this conference and perhaps beyond.

Lion created a listserv that anybody can join.

It would be great if entries were coalesced around themes:

The Great Turning

The Universe Story

Storytelling tools

etc.

This is a work in progress. The StoryField has yet to be defined.

Publish anywhere, find it easily should be our model.

Wiki could link to blogs, youTube, Flikr, Listserv, attendee websites, great resources, other places.

What’s hyper-relevant to do that would serve us now?

Tone of wiki should be welcoming: We welcome your contributions. (done) Purpose. (done)

Here’s how to...: (clear descriptions - still needs doing)

We should figure out how to communicate about this to the rest of the group.
