- Lion Kimbro and Anodea Judith
After Anodea's telling, Lion (the immediate writer) said, "I don't like that presentation, because it really marginalizes me as a white, male, technologist, pervert, youth. I was furious to hear it. I do not feel HSLed by the presentation." The issue was primarily around the presentation of masculinity and men in both the story as presented, and in the broader context of the conference: "Men and women are equal, and women are more equal than men."
This culminated in a promise to talk later (see Lion Kimbro and Anodea Judith, for the fulfillment of the promise,) group appreciation and feeling, and a conversation (by a particular process) wherein Lion and Anodea both appreciated each others thoughts, accomplishments, importance, and reaffirmed the promise to talk again.
